Following an extensive excavation in 2018, the adjacent site has started revealing a continuation of this previously unknown but very busy Roman settlement. One of the nicest finds to date was this lovely silver coin of Valentinian I (AD 364-375), found in the middle of February - the timing seems nicely appropriate!

Finding a silver coin from Valentinian I adds such a tangible connection to history. It’s amazing how artifacts bring ancient settlements to life! https://batoto.website

Discovering a Roman coin like that adds so much depth to local history. It makes you wonder what other artifacts are still buried nearby! psychic reviews
