Nansi Rosenberg BA (Hons) MA* MCIfA
Managing Director and Principal Consultant
After paying to go on my first excavation aged 16, I decided archaeology was the career for me, and I've been studying or working as an archaeologist ever since. Starting as a site assistant, I gained knowledge of all aspects of archaeological and built heritage fieldwork as I progressed through the ranks. With a move from project manager into consultancy, I cemented my understanding of the heritage sector with a focus on the built environment through an MA in Archaeology and Heritage in 2000. I assisted with the establishment of an archaeology and heritage service at a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy in 2001 and, having learnt what the construction world needs from the inside, set up my own consultancy business in 2003. As well as managing the business, I work on all aspects of heritage, from a 15th century castle and park in Scotland to an industrial World Heritage Site in Cornwall. I have also acted as an expert witness for both built and buried heritage in planning appeals.
